About the Author :
FAYE STRAUSS and her husband Gary established the Sherluck Doberman Pinscher line in the early 1970s. Over a 20-year period Sherluck has produced 73 champions out of only 24 litters, an average of 3 champions per litter. In this same period of time, 10 Sherluck Dobermans have been in the Top Ten winners of the Doberman Pinscher Club of America. Faye and her Sherluck Kennel have been named Breeder of the Year by the DPCA 3 times, and 4 Sherluck males have produced over 30 champions each. In addition to showing her own dogs, Faye is a professional handler and has taken over 100 dogs to their championships. She has also written articles on breeding, genetics, training and handling, as well as produced an award-winning video and interactive CD-ROM on Dobermans.
