D. Caroline Coile, Ph.D., is an expert on animal psychology and the author of many books on the care and training of dogs. She has been showing dogs since 1974, and she has handled her "Baha" Salukis to top ranks in show, field, obedience and agility, winning Pedigree Award, Best in SHow, Best in Specialty Show, Best in Field, and National Specialty Triathlon and High in Trials in both obedience and agility. Her interest in dogs led her to study their behaviour and sensory systems, leading to a Ph.D.
