About the Author :

KAYE LADD owned her first Dachshund when she was 15 and has never lived a day since without at least one Dachshund. In the 15 plus years of Laddland Dachshunds she has bred more than 30 champions. She was the AKC Delegate from the Dachshund Club of America, Inc. for four years and served on the Board of Directors. She serves as Director of Publicity and the Chairman of the Illustrated Standard. Today Kaye enjoys attending shows and spotting the dogs who bear the Laddland hallmarks. She strives for elegance and fluid, easy movement and is thrilled that she is helping the breed claim more of those traits.
