About the Author :
JACQUELINE O'NEIL began exhibiting and breeding her "Fraja" American Staffordshire Terriers in 1974. She has owned, bred and
handled over 40 dogs to their championships and trained and handled her Stafs to 20 obedience titles, including the Utility Dog title.
Her dogs have won all the top awards offered at national specialties in conformation, obedience, and weight pulling, and dogs of the
"Fraja" background are consistently high on every ranking system.An award-winning writer, Jackie founded the STCA Newsletter in 1978 and was its first editor. She authored hundreds of magazine articles, including the AKC Gazette columns "Getting Started" and "Performance."
Jackie and her husband Tom spend most of their time in Montana and the Florida Keys. In addition to dogs and birds, the couple loves to fish, scuba dive, horseback ride, and travel. They have two adult daughters, Peggy and Sunny, who have menageries of their own.
