Shipping & Returns
OzPetshop uses Australia Post to deliver goods Australia wide. The delivery fee is calculated on the weight, dimensions and destination postcode of the parcel. All parcels are shipped via Australia Post from our warehouse in Victoria 3222. Weight is calculated on cubic measure according to Australia Post.
Once you have become a member of the OzPetShop, the delivery fee or shipping cost for your order can be calculated at any time prior to checkout or purchasing. You have the ability to monitor the progress of your order from purchase to dispatch.
OzPetShop offers "free" shipping for orders valued over $100 that are under 3kgs Australia wide.
Orders sent receipted delivery through Australia Post must be signed for on receipt of delivery. If goods cannot be signed for at the specified delivery address, they will be delivered to the nearest Australia Post Office for collection. All registered post items can be tracked through Australia Post once your order has been shipped. It is not our responsibility to track individual orders for you.
Items (in stock) are dispatched within 2 working days of receipt of payment (unless otherwise notified). Orders received before 1pm AEST (working days) are generally shipped the next day when in stock.
Delivery to major States and Territories and surrounding areas is typically 4-7 working days. For delivery to remote or rural areas please allow a further 2-7 working days. There is no weekend or Public Holiday delivery anywhere in Australia.
If an order contains out of stock items the order will be shipped once all items are back in stock. We receive new stock from our suppliers on a regular basis. We may part ship orders at our own discretion.
Customers have the choice of selecting Express Post Shipping. Details of Express Post delivery times is available on the Australia Post website. Selecting Express Post Shipping does not guarantee that items will be dispatched any quicker from our warehouse. Express Post is a service offered by Australia Post and we have no control over speed of delivery.
It is the customers responsibility to ensure that their delivery details are correct. Customers are asked to verify their delivery details prior to confirming their order. Parcels returned to us for incorrect delivery details may incur an additional postage charge for re-delivery.

We undertake to replace you for any product delivered to you that is faulty or is in a damaged condition. If you wish to return a faulty or damaged product, you must notify us (see our “contact us” webpage), so that we can manage the return process appropriately and supply you with return authorisation and/or reference number.
- We may request a photo to assist with the assessment of your claim.
- We may request that faulty or damaged goods be returned to us so that we may inspect them before providing and exchange or refund.
- If goods are deemed to be faulty or damaged we will refund your return postage charges.
- We reserve the right to not replace goods which have damage caused by your pet chewing, tearing or ripping the product.
We also undertake to exchange or refund any undamaged product purchased from us so long as it is returned unused and with proof of purchase within Thirty (30) days of the invoice date. If undamaged goods are returned to us for exchange or refund, we do not refund any packing and postage charges. Return of undamaged goods for exchange or refund is entirely at your cost and risk.
Goods that have been opened, used, tags or packing/instruction manuals removed, or goods sold on a "no return basis" cannot be returned, unless faulty. Return of special order items such as dog coats is at our discretion.

We accept no responsibility for loss or damage to goods occurring in transit on return to OzPetShop. Goods are not deemed to be received by us until they arrive at our warehouse.
Goods returned by "Cash on delivery" are not accepted by us, return postage costs incurred will be reimbursed to the sender if the item is deemed faulty once received by OzPetShop.
All returned goods must be sent with a copy of the OzPets invoice as proof of purchase and the return reference number.
If a product is replaced, your replacement product becomes your property and the returned product becomes our property. When a refund is given, the returned product becomes our property.
