About the Author :

HELEN SHUE has been breeding and showing dogs since childhood, beginning in Junior Showmanship. She has been in Dalmatians for 13 years, and at present has 13 Champions; including Nationally ranked dogs and Specialty winners. Two of her dogs have appeared on the cover of the Dalmatian Club of America's magazine, The Spotter. She also has top obedience dogs. Her dogs have appeared in advertising, commercials and magazines. Helen is a member of the Dalmatian Club of America and is very active in Dalmatian rescue. Her kennel name, Lyco, comes from Lycoming College, where she and her husband met.
