REAL LAMBSKIN VS FAUX LAMBSKIN
Many pet bedding companies have in their range a pet bed made from faux look-a-like lambskin. These products are usually made from petrochemical based fibres which are man-made and not as healthy for your pet as sleeping on natural fibre like lambskin. BEDDING FEATURES AND BENEFITS 

The Comfy Pet Cushion filling insert is made with a combination of crumble foam and polyester fibre fill. The addition of crumble foam offers your pet maximum support while resting or sleeping. Unlike pure polyester fibre filled inserts, Comfy Paws inserts will spring back into place much better after use and may not flatten out dramatically like some polyester fill fibre beds can after prolonged use. Replacement inserts are available.



All Comfy Paws lambskin pet bed products are easily machine washable. The Comfy Cushion pet bed insert can be removed through the zippered end and the cover can be washed in wool wash.

- Lambskin acts as a natural moisturiser due to the high content of lanolin. Your pets coat can be kept shiny. Lanolin may also help dogs with dry or irritated skin so these beds may be suitable for old dogs who suffer from irritating skin conditions.

- Sleeping on a lambskin bed may help heal sensitive inflamed skin or rashes as the natural fibre and density of the lambskin allows air to circulate around your pet while it rests.

- The lamb's wool fibres are imbedded in the leather and unlike many woven fabric beds the wool is not easy to pull out and the leather not easy for dogs to tear, so the product should last and last.

- The leather on lambskin is water resistant and odours and wetness should not seep through to the filling bag easily, prolonging the life of the pet bed.

- Lambskin can stay warm when wet and can absorb 30% of its weight in moisture and still feel dry.

- Lambskin is non-allergenic maintaining a healthy sleeping place for your pet.

- Wool is non-flammable and so safe to use in all areas of the home.

- Wool is soft, luxurious and comfortable and has been used as a bedding product for as long as records go back.

Care Instructions
All the Comfy Paws pet bedding range may be machine washed on short cycle in cold or warm water using wool wash which is commonly available in most supermarkets. Tumble dry on cold setting or line dry in filtered sun or shaded position. Drying in hot sun can cause the leather to harden so drying in shaded or filtered sun recommended. Do not machine wash pet bed inserts. Air as needed. Replacement inserts are available by order.
