My cat never drank from the bowl. She'd drink from taps, leftover shower and washing machine water and anything she could find. I bought this and lent it to my mum, who has 3 cats. Kyo loves it and I feel a lot relaxed knowing the water she drinks is safe. I can barely hear it and you can see how much is being consumed. If your even thinking of getting this, stop, because its your babies health. My mums cats now snob their water bowl for this.
